Since last week after I updated my outlook. I have deleted over several thousand duplicated email I get the same email every few minutes and the outlook just keep on downloading the same emails or any email that is still on my server. Hi, I am having the same issue and it is driving me crazy. I did slightly modify steps 4 throughĦ so they are more easily understood but this is the process that worked for me. The directions below were provided by Karl, I am just re-posting them. So with the expertise of Karl I think this problem can be temporarily resolved until Microsoft provides a fix in a future update. I manually set up my POP3 account on my Outlook 2016 and copied/pasted my old. I recently purchased a new computer (HP Pavilion All-In One w/ Windows 10) which included Microsoft Office 2016.
